Katy is a writer, actor and comedienne living in Los Angeles. She’s an executive producer, writer and actor on TV Land’s Teachers. Katy co-created the show with her improv group The Katydids and developed it for TV off their web series of the same name. Teachers ran for three seasons and fifty episodes. Katy received her B.A. in theater and psychology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. After college, Katy moved to Chicago where she performed with The Second City House Ensemble, iO Chicago, The Annoyance Theater and more. Katy has guest starred on American Housewife, Corporate, Mike Tyson Mysteries, and The Healing Powers of Dude. She has also appeared on Larry King Now, Watch What Happens Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, Steve, @midnight and more. Additionally, Katy has developed TV for NBC Universal and a feature with Bluegrass Films and Scott Stuber.
