  • The Katydids are pleased to announce that TV Land has given a pilot order for TEACHERS with Alison Brie as Executive Producer.  Katy and her group, The Katydids, will be writing, acting and executive producing the pilot.  Check out the announcement on Deadline.com, The Hollywood Reporter and Variety.
  • Katy recently completed level 201 at UCB and is currently training with Lesly Kahn in Los Angeles.  She is looking forward to completely the entire UCB program.
  • Katy reunited with her longtime writing partner John Loos to perform JODY at the 2014 Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival.

  • Katy is pleased to share that she has recently relocated to LOS ANGELES.  She will heading back to Chicago a few times a year to work on Katydids projects but she is excited to make the official move to LA.

  • Katy joins an amazing ensemble of women in a new show Period Piece every Tuesday in January at The Playground.

  • Katy is joining forces with Lisa Linke  to present How to Ruin Your Life in One Hour opening November 1st at The iO Theater.  This half scripted/half improvised uneducational seminar is hosted by two completely unqualified mid-western women.  Pamela Gunt (Colloton), a pathological liar currently on parole for vehicular manslaughter, and Sylvia Goldberg nee Goldstein (Linke), a mother of five who considers alcoholism a cure for the disease of parenting, have come together to present you How To Ruin Your Life in One Hour.

  • What Would Carol Do? is coming to NEW YORK for one night only.  Katy will be performing her solo show on June 27th at 9PM at The Pit Underground.  Click for details.  
  • Katy was asked to perform solo material  in the JUST FOR LAUGHS CHICAGO ALONE SHOWCASE on both June 15th and June 16th at 8PM at The Playground Theater.

  • Katy was cast as a small part on a new web series on Hulu.com.  More details to come.
  • Chicago Comedians Katy Colloton and John Loos have joined forces to present JODY!  Directed by Dina Facklis, JODY! is a two person scripted sketch comedy show that focuses on the absurdity of gender roles.  From a Top Gun inspired romance to a skinny jeans ballet, JODY! will show that no one should surrender to their gender.  It runs on Thursdays at 10:30PM at the iO Theater starting November 3rd.
  • Katy will be performing with Chicago Supersonics at CIC on Sundays starting November 6th.
